Catalogue sizes

AllPrinting produces booklets and catalogues in four sizes:

  • A4 — A4-sized when closed, and opens to twice that size — 297mm high x 210mm wide when closed, and opens to 297mm high x 420 wide.
  • A5 — half A4-sized when closed, and opens to A4 — 210mm high x 148mm wide when closed, and opens to 210mm high x 297mm wide.
  • A6 — one-quarter A4-sized when closed, and opens to one-half A4 — 148mm high x 105mm wide when closed, and opens to 148mm high x 210mm wide
  • DL — one-third A4-sized when closed, and opens to two-thirds A4-size — 210mm high x 99mm wide when closed, and opens to 210mm high x 198mm wide

 

Paper stocks

Catalogues, booklets and magazines are printed on a number of stocks, but our best value is our 150gsm Gloss stock.

Please note that the Gloss part of the stock refers to a coating that has been placed upon the paper. If you catalogue will mostly consist of writing, then the paper will seem quite shiny and it will reflect the light.

However, if you have a lot of background colour, logos or images, then the paper will not appear shiny at all — rather, the Gloss part of the stock will make the colours, logos or images appear richer.

AllPrinting uses two types of 150gsm Gloss stock:

  • 55% recycled and 45% sustainable plantation paper — this stock uses a mixture of recycled paper, and paperthat is created from sustainable plantations.; or
  • 100% sustainable plantation paper.
