Envelope paper stocks used

Do not ever purchase digitally printed envelopes, as digitally printed envelopes are NOT laser printer safe. It is more than likely that the toner (i.e.: powered dry ink) will melt in the laser printer, and damage both the envelopes and the laser printer.

AllPrinting's 100% laser printer friendly envelopes are offset printed, and thay are available in two stocks:

  • 100gsm laser offset — this is a dedicated envelope stock, and it is about the same strength and feel of the envelopes you might buy at the local newsagency. Also, it is sourced from sustainable plantations.
  • 100gsm 70% recycled — this stock is 70% recycled paper, and it is about the same strength and feel of the envelopes you might buy at the local newsagency.

AllPrinting uses normal inks (i.e.: wet inks) on its evelopes, so ALMOST all of AllPrinting's envelopes are 100% laser printer safe.
If your envelope has a window face, then it will NOT be laser printer safe. Window-faced envelopes are NEVER laser printer safe.

 

Envelope printing quantities

100% laser printer friendly envelopes can be ordered in set quantities. If you have a look at the prices, you will discover that the economical unit costs start with orders of 1,000 — take the time to compare the prices and you will see that the price difference between 500 and 1,000 is not that great.

 

Multiple-designs for envelopes

You can order several different 100% laser printer friendly envelopes designs with each order (up to 10 different designs), however you must order all designs in equal quantities.
