Single-sided appointment cards

Are single-sided appointment cards cheaper? NO!

What we do is 'gang' all our appointment and business card jobs onto the one print run. 
All our business card and appointment card jobs are offset printed on huge B1 presses. These presses are about ten times the size of a standard A4 business letter, and our presses can accommodate about 120 different business and appointment card jobs on the one print-run.
So, we gather all of our business card and appointment card jobs, and print them on the one run. The cost of the eight printing plates is divided amongst the 120 different jobs, and the cost is shared between those different customers.
We do not, at this time, receive enough single-sided business card and appointment card jobs, so the single-sided jobs that we do get are placed with all the double-sided business card and appointment card jobs.

You can, if you wish, order a single-sided appointment card. However, it will cost the same as a double-sided appointment card. Therefore, you may as well use the back to make your appointment card look even more professional (e.g.: place a few lines on the back upon which you can write the time of the appointment).

AllPrinting's cheap appointment cards can be ordered in lots of 1,000.

 

Multiple-designs for cheap appointment cards

You can order several different cheap appointment cards with each order (up to 10 different designs). However, all designs must be ordered in equal numbers.
So, you can order 1,000 of each of ten designs (for a total order of 10,000 cheap appointment cards), but you cannot order 1,000 of each of five designs and 5,000 of a sixth design. 

On the above-right is an image of the first ordering page. The customer is ordering one specific appointment card, and wants 1,000 copies of that one specific design.

The total number of cards being ordered is, therefore, 1,000.

On the below-right is another image of the first ordering page. This customer is ordering TWO different appointment cards, and wants 1,000 copies of each design.

The total number of cards being ordered is, therefore, 2,000.

 

 

Creating a press-ready appointment card file for a printing company

If your file is correctly set up from the beginning, then your job is more likely to proceed through the printing process easily and quickly.

The first thing that you MUST know is that finished appointment cards measure 54mm x 89mm.
The first thing that you MUST know is that, if your appointment card is going to have any background colours or images that will go right to the very edge of the card, then you MUST have 3mm bleeds.
Always keep those measurements in mind, and you will go a long way to making sure that your appointment card printing job will proceed in a timely manner.

Our business cards and appointment cards are printed on B1 presses. These are huge, and about 120 different cards can be printed on the one set of printing plates. So, the huge cost of eight (8) B1-sized plates is shared between the 120 different business card and appointment card jobs — your specific cheap (but still high quality) appointment card will take up only a small portion of the plates, and you will therefore only incur a small portion of the cost of creating those huge B1 printing plates.
