Paper stocks used on bookmarks

Our rapid printing service uses fast digital printing presses to create bookmarks, and those digitally printed bookmarks are printed on two types of stock:

300gsm Satin; or
300gsm Gloss.

Both stocks are made from 100% sustainable plantation paper, and the bookmarks are sufficiently stong to withstand handling.

AllPrinting's value-printing service is an offset printing operation where bookmarks are printed on large presses that have big wheels and drums, and make lots of noise. And these bookmarks are available in two stocks:

350gsm Satin Art Board 100% sustainable plantation — this is a dedicated business card stock that is more than suitable for bookmarks, and it is quite robust. Also, it is sourced from sustainable plantations.
350gsm Satin 55% Recycled — this stock is a mixture of 55% recycled paper and 45% sustainable plantation stock.

Also, the 350gsm 100% sustainable plantation bookmarks have the option of a high-gloss celloglaze coating on the front.
The high-gloss celloglaze coating has the effect of making the bookmark more robust, and the high gloss makes the colours richer.

Value-printing bookmarks can be ordered in lots of 1,000.

Multiple-designs for bookmarks

You can order several different bookmarks with each order (up to 10 different designs), however:

Each rapid digitally printed bookmark design must be ordered in equal quantities.
Each value-printing bookmark design must be ordered in equal quantities, and each design must be ordered in lots of 1,000.

Why bleeds are important when printing bookmarks

If your file is going to have any background colours, images or text that will be printing right to the very edge of the page, then please make sure that all pages have bleeds.
The greatest advantage of understanding bleeds are:

There is a 35-40% chance that your job will have problems if you do not understand bleeds. Alternately;
There is a 60-65% chance that your job will not have a single problem if you do understand bleeds.
