Rapid and value printing

The Rapid Printing Service allows you to receive your poster quickly — in as little as one day — and you can order almost any quantity. All Rapid Printing Service posters are printed on either:

• A digital press — these are large presses similar to a photocopying machine. However, these digital presses cost about $1,250,000, so the quality of our digitally printed posters is 100%; or
• An ink-jet press — these are similar to some bubble-jet presses that you might have at home or at work. However, our bubble-jet presses print to a higher resolution than the printers you have at home or in the office (i.e.: almost 200 dots per inch), and our ink-jet presses are much larger. So, whilst our wide format bubble-jet printed posters are not to our offset printing or digital printing standards, they are still pretty good.

 

Value-based offset poster printing uses traditional printing presses (that make lots of noise), and you must order in set quantities. Value-printing posters are a better option for the cost conscious customer.

Poster paper stocks

Digitally printed posters use a range of paper stocks. All paper used for digital printing are sourced from 100% sustainable plantations.

Value-printing posters are printed a range of stocks, and these stocks include:

• 150gsm Gloss — this stock is sourced from 100% sustainable plantations.
• 150gsm Gloss Recycled — this stock is a mixture of 55% recycled paper, and 45% sustainable plantation paper.
• 200gsm Gloss — 100% sustainable plantation.
• 310gsm Satin Art Board — 100% sustainable plantation.

Bubble-jet printed posters are printing on a 160gsm uncoated stock. Uncoated stocks have a finish that is similar to the paper that you will use in your home or office printer — it is not the polished or marbled finish that you find on gloss or satin finished paper.

 

Poster printing and multiple designs

You can upload up to ten (10) different designs with the one order. However, all designs must be ordered in equal numbers.
